The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

You need to follow our tutorial from bellow but first you need to download 2 files from here. (If you have 64 bits (64) Operating System download lib64 and lib32 for 32 bits. (x86)

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

The steps of this guide can be followed by any user of PC or Laptop.

Now you need to copy both downloaded packs where you have game installed, in folder where is .exe

Example : D:\Games\The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\Binaries\Win64\ (or Win32)

or

C\Program Files (X86)\The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\Binaries\Win64\ (or Win32)

For steam :

C:\Username\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\Binaries\Win64\ (or Win32)

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\Binaries\Win64\ (or Win32)

Copy all files to game folder where AstronautsGame-Win64-Shipping.exe or AstronautsGame-Win32-Shipping.exe is: Otherwise the gamepad will not work !!!

Important. You can backup xinput1_3.dll file. (copy to another partition) And to restore, delete all downloaded files and also restore xinput1_3.dll

You don`t know how to find folder where is AstronautsGame-Win64-Shipping.exe or AstronautsGame-Win32-Shipping.exe to copy downloaded files ?

Right click on game icon from desktop. then select Open File Location and look where AstronautsGame-Win64-Shipping.exe or AstronautsGame-Win32-Shipping.exe is located or use Windows search.

Copy both files to where you have game installed but in folder where is AstronautsGame-Win64-Shipping.exe or AstronautsGame-Win32-Shipping.exe

Now unpack both files using this free archiever (or use any archiever)

Now, look for file x360ce.exe and run it, then select YES

Now you need to have Search Automatically already checked and press NEXT , wait to update and then FINISH.

Last step is to SAVE your config from bottom right corner and now you can PLAY The Vanishing of Ethan Carter with any gamepad / controller
